At SCR Altach on Sunday

In the second of four consecutive away matches, we travel to Altach for Matchday 15 of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, where we will face SCR Altach this Sunday (30 November 2025) at 14:30 CET. Despite our disappointing 2-3 defeat at home against WSG Tirol last week, we still top the table.

Goal threat versus defensive stability: the signs point to an exciting clash of extremes. No team has scored more goals this Bundesliga season than our Red Bulls (31). On the other side, however, Altach are the team with the fewest goals conceded this season (15). Fabio Ingolitsch's team experienced a slight dip in form in recent weeks, but recently celebrated an important 3-1 victory at home against WAC that moves them back up to eighth place and within reach of the championship group spots. Against the deep-lying Altach, who will be looking to counter-attack, patience and precision in the final third will be crucial.

In our first meeting of the season, Altach proved they can be dangerous despite being the underdogs, snatching a 2-2 draw at the Red Bull Arena. This time, however, we're aiming for a full three points to put our two recent defeats behind us!

Fans at home can follow the action as always on Sky Sport Austria.

When you play in the Europa League away on Thursday and then have a long trip to the next away match on Sunday, recovery is always a crucial factor and a challenge. We're used to this situation though, we want it, and there won't be any complaining. It means considering making one or two changes. Altach are a team that, after some minor issues, have had a very good start to the season overall. Anyone who has played there before knows they are tough opponents. Of course, we know that after the unnecessary defeat against Tirol, we now need a win. We're preparing accordingly. Looking at the league, you can see that almost anything is possible on any matchday.

Thomas Letsch

The positive thing is that, despite our unnecessary defeat against Tirol, we're still at the top of the table thanks to the results in the other matches. Now we need to capitalise on that, put in a better performance against Altach and get three points. They have had a strong season so far, and are particularly good at home. They certainly won't give us anything for free - we have to work hard for every victory.
