Former Patriots RB makes brutal admission on Bill Belichick's legacy

Former New England Patriots running back Damien Harris shared his brutally honest opinion of Bill Belichick's legacy, following the North Carolina Tar Heels' 38-10 blowout loss to the Clemson Tigers on Saturday.

According to Harris, Belichick's legacy is "going down" as the Tar Heels moved to 2-3 on the season. It has been a disappointing college run so far for the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach. To make matters worse, he was coming off back-to-back losing seasons in the NFL, including a 4-13 finish in 2023, before joining the Tar Heels.

There has been plenty of debate on whether losing late in Belichick's career could hurt his legacy as a head coach. It would seem as if Harris believes it could.

"When you talk about the legacy of Bill Belichick, it's just going down, and down, and down, and down," Harris said, via CBS Sports.

Some will always view Belichick as the greatest coach of all time due to his incredible run with the Patriots. However, others will look at everything else at face value and choose the other path. Belichick hasn't won without Tom Brady as his quarterback.

There's no getting around that fact, no matter which side you align with in the debate.
