Georgia football fans fired up after landing 4-star DL commitment
The Georgia Bulldogs added a commitment from four-star defensive lineman Carter Luckie to the delight of Bulldog fans

The Georgia Bulldogs added another nice piece to their class of 2026 in four-star defensive lineman Carter Luckie. The Bulldogs now have the No. 6 recruiting class in the country and the best recruiting class in the SEC.
The 247Sports Composite ranks Luckie as the No. 318 player in the country, the No. 39 defensive lineman and the No. 40 recruit in Georgia. Luckie plays high school football for Norcross High School in Norcross, Georgia.
The 6-foot-5, 265-pound defensive lineman is the brother of junior Georgia Bulldogs tight end Lawson Luckie, who is coming off a strong sophomore season with 24 receptions for 348 yards and three touchdowns.
Carter Luckie is Georgia's 11th commitment in the 2026 recruiting class and Georgia's second along the defensive line. He joins three-star defensive line commit Seven Cloud, who is the top ranked junior college prospect in the country.
