Here's how Cowboys OL Tyler Booker supported Alabama QB Ty Simpson, his best friend
Here's how Cowboys guard Tyler Booker supported his best friend, Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson, after his performance against Georgia with fashion.

Dallas Cowboys and former Alabama guard Tyler Booker gave a shoutout to Ty Simpson in the form of a fashion statement during Sunday Night Football this week.
Simpson explained that Booker, his best friend, was supportive of the quarterback throughout a standout performance at Georgia on Saturday, Sept. 27.
"He probably called me three times between kickoff and then after the game," Simpson said. "He was tuned in like he was on the team. But Book (Booker) is why I'm here. Book is why I stayed, pretty much. He's my best friend. We came in together."
Simpson went 24-of-38 passing for 276 yards and two touchdowns, adding 21 carries for 57 yards and two scores in Alabama's 24-21 road win at Georgia. He celebrated the performance by catching up with an old friend.
"(Booker) called the whole team during fall camp, but he called Ty (Simpson) after the game, and I was sitting right next to Ty, so I got to talk to him for a little bit," Alabama center Parker Brailsford said. "I really appreciate him. Him and Ty are like best friends."

Booker took it one step further the next day, sporting an Alabama football Simpson jersey while out for an ankle injury during the Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers game Sunday, Sept. 28.
Simpson explained how much that gesture meant to him from his best friend and former teammate.
"Him wearing my jersey (during) Sunday Night Football ... what a guy, man. He didn't have to do that. I love him to death," Simpson said. "Him being not on the team but always talking to us is huge. ... His voice is still heard. We have a ton of respect for him and guys like that."
Alabama next faces Vanderbilt in a quest for revenge after the 40-35 road loss Oct. 5, 2024. The Crimson Tide will host the Commodores at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4.
