New York Jets QB Justin Fields Carted Off Field With Injury at Thursday's Practice
Fields is a centerpiece and a hope ... With both coming to the Big Apple looking to establish themselves in the NFL, Glenn as a first-time head coach, and Fields to show he can be a starting quarterback, both have time to show they are capable of leading this franchise to where it wants to go. As for Fields, as he began his first training camp with the Jets, he has quite the list of goals to accomplish in 2025.

The external expectations for the New York Jets in Aaron Glenn's first year as head coach aren't exactly too high. And that goes for Justin Fields, too.
But inside Jets training camp? Fields is a centerpiece and a hope ...
And on Thursday he went down with an injury, limped for a time, and had to be carted off the practice field and toward the locker room.
We will await word on the seriousness of the injury. But for now?
With both coming to the Big Apple looking to establish themselves in the NFL, Glenn as a first-time head coach, and Fields to show he can be a starting quarterback, both have time to show they are capable of leading this franchise to where it wants to go.
As for Fields, as he began his first training camp with the Jets, he has quite the list of goals to accomplish in 2025.
"Winning, winning games, winning a lot of games, making the playoffs," Fields said. "I think that's number one on my list for this team. And winning the division as well. So I think those are the goals that are set forth. But of course, before we do all that stuff, we got to win our division. And go out and really do better each and every day.
"So all that to say that's of course, down the line, so you kind of got to focus on today and tomorrow. But taking it step by step, day by day. But those are the goals that I want to accomplish this year."
Some have the Jets only winning a handful of games as Glenn looks to set the foundation for what he hopes will then lead to success down the line. Yes, there will be ups, with the potential of the offense particularly interesting, and Fields did have an up-and-down day on the practice field, but that is what training camp is about.
He is learning a new system, new teammates, and is in a new environment, so things will take time, but there is a lot to work on.
As far as Fields' goals, no one would expect anything less, because while externally, not many are expecting much in 2025 from New York, internally, it wants to set the bar high. ...
Though it needs a healthy Fields to do that.
