Rams DE Braden Fiske ahead of schedule following knee surgery, already 'full go' in OTAs
Rams DE Braden Fiske had surgery on his injured knee this offseason but he's already "full go" during OTAs

Braden Fiske missed most of the Los Angeles Rams’ playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in January after injuring his knee early in the game. It wasn’t a long-term injury, but it was serious enough to sideline him for the remainder of the contest and require offseason surgery.
It was never expected to impact his availability for Week 1 of 2025 and based on his recent comments, he’s already back to being a full go in practice.
Fiske told Stu Jackson of TheRams.com last week that he’s “feeling great right now” and the rehab process has gone according to plan. In fact, he’s ahead of schedule and is doing everything in practice already with no limitations.
"Everything went as planned,” Fiske said. “We're even ahead of the process now (compared to) where I thought I was going to be. I'm full go right now, moving, doing indy (individual drills), doing everything and feeling great."
Fiske is once again going to be a big part of the Rams’ young and hungry defense, slotting in alongside Kobie Turner and newcomer Poona Ford on the defensive line. Fiske is coming off a season in which he led the team with 8.5 sacks and tied for third with 10 tackles for a loss, bursting onto the scene as a second-round rookie.
The playoff game against Philadelphia might’ve been different had he not gotten hurt, but he’s confident heading into Year 2 with the Rams.
"Especially from where I left off last season and how I feel going into this season, I feel great," Fiske said. "I'm ready to roll."
With Fiske, Turner, Jared Verse, Byron Young and now Josaiah Stewart getting after the quarterback, the Rams’ front could be a force to be reckoned with. When healthy, their ceiling is as high as any team’s in the NFL.
