Rams now have to face Micah Parsons in Week 5 after Packers’ blockbuster trade
The Rams’ Week 5 opponent, the Packers, landed Micah Parsons in a blockbuster trade with the Cowboys, making Los Angeles’ schedule that much harder.

The Los Angeles Rams’ schedule already looked difficult on paper, but it just got a little bit tougher on Thursday. That’s because Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys decided to dump star pass rusher Micah Parsons, trading him to the Green Bay Packers for two first-round picks and Kenny Clark.
The Rams and Packers are set to square off at SoFi Stadium in Week 5, a 4:25 p.m. kickoff on Oct. 6. Hopefully Alaric Jackson and Rob Havenstein are at their best that week because they now have Parsons to deal with. Parsons is an All-Pro pass rusher who made the Pro Bowl in each of his first four seasons, putting him on a potential Hall of Fame trajectory.

It was a stunner of a trade, seemingly coming together quickly just hours after ESPN reported that Dallas began taking calls on Parsons.
The Cowboys and Parsons had been trying to get a new deal done since last year but talks were cut off this summer, leading to Parsons requesting a trade. After getting dealt to Green Bay, Parsons agreed to a $188 million deal.
