Seahawks sign new rookie defensive tackle from Miami

The Seattle Seahawks have a clear goal in mind to create a nasty defensive line, and they are doing all they can by leaving no stone unturned. On Thursday, the Seahawks added to their depth by signing another undrafted free agent: Anthony Campbell from Miami.

Campbell originally began playing college football at University of Louisiana Monroe, and he stayed with the Warhawks for the first two years of his collegiate career. Afterwards, he transferred to Miami for his final two seasons. In his career, Campbell played in 27 games, recorded 14 total tackles, forced one fumble, had one sack, and defended two passes.

Interestingly enough, Campbell was focused on religious studies while attending Miami.

Campbell is listed at 6-foot-6 and 307 pounds. Fellow defensive tackle DeMeco Roland, another undrafted free agent, was waived so room could be made for Campbell on the roster.
