Steelers vs Jets: 3 keys to victory this week
We take a look at what the Steelers need to do if they want to get the Week One win over the Jets.

The NFL regular season kicks off on Sunday with the Pittsburgh Steelers squaring off against the New York Jets. The Jets and Steelers have both gone to great lengths to make over their rosters, including a swap of starting quarterbacks. Pittsburgh is hoping all these changes can help this team finally get a playoff win after being shut out since 2016.
Here are the Steelers keys to victory this week:
Be the better young offensive line
The Jets and Steelers are both counting on multiple young offensive linemen in their starting lineups. Last season the Steelers got exceptional play out of Zach Frazier and Mason McCormick and now hope for a repeat with Broderick Jones at left tackle and Troy Fautanu on the right.
Establish the run
We aren't sure if Aaron Rodgers is going to have some rust to knock off, but assuming he can't just come out slinging it all over the field, the Steelers' run game will be key. Jaylen Warren just got himself a new contract and is set to be the Steelers' starter for the first time in his career. Warren is backed up by Kenneth Gainwell and rookie Kaleb Johnson and Pittsburgh needs to find ways to use the run game to win on early downs.
Find ways to generate pressure on Fields
The Steelers pass rush has struggled the last two seasons but Pittsburgh knows Justin Fields well. Pittsburgh has a ton of pass rushers on the roster, so there's no excuse for them not to come out fast and generate pressure every time Fields drops back.
