The No. 6 Georgia Bulldogs play in their final SEC road series of the season against the No. 20 Alabama Crimson Tide. Georgia's three-game series at Alabama will go a long way in determining the final SEC standings ahead of the SEC Tournament.

Georgia is 39-11 (15-9 in SEC) and enters the Alabama series with a six game winning streak. Georgia is tied for third in the SEC, but Alabama is among the six SEC teams lurking closely behind the Bulldogs.

Alabama is 37-12 (13-11 in SEC) and lost their most recent SEC series at Vanderbilt (two games to one). The Crimson Tide are 23-6 at home and have a significant home field advantage against Georgia, who is only 9-8 on the road.

Both Georgia and Alabama are vying to have a top-four seed in the SEC, which ensures a trip to the quarterfinals of the SEC baseball tournament in Hoover, Alabama, from May 20-25. Top-four seeds have byes in both the first- and second-round of the SEC tournament.

Georgia leads the country in home runs with 119 through 50 games this season. Alabama is No. 16 in the country with 82 home runs, so fans should expect some fireworks this series.

Georgia's final SEC home series of the regular season will be against the Texas A&M Aggies from May 15-17.
