You can now see Knute Rockne coach Notre Dame in color.

Usually, when you see footage of legendary Notre Dame coach Knute Rockne, it's in black-and-white.
Well, thanks to the Smithsonian, you can geek out on colorized old footage of Rockne putting his team through its paces during practice.
You can even see him chew out some linemen for not paying attention. For all that the profession has changed over the years, some aspects of coaching remain the same.
Go check it out. The gold old-fashioned leather helmets are striking.
