Auburn basketball's latest KenPom ranking after taking down Florida
How much did Auburn's KenPom ranking improve following its upset win over Florida on Saturday?
Auburn basketball picked up its first win in Gainesville since 1996, breaking a 15-game losing streak to the Florida Gators. The Tigers beat the Gators 76-67 Saturday, Jan. 24.
Keyshawn Hall took over the game for the Tigers, scoring 24 points. Hall finished the game with seven rebounds, four assists, and one block. The team shot 26-of-54 from the field and 5-of-15 from the three-point line.
In the first half, the Tigers built up a lead, ending the half 43-28. The Tigers kept the Gators from getting back into it the rest of the way. Auburn improves to 13-7 on the year and 4-3 in conference play.

Auburn's offensive efficiency leaps to No. 13, and KenPom gave Auburn an offensive efficiency score of 125. The play of Hall and Murphy on the offensive side of the ball showed the Tigers can be a problem when hot.
Defensive efficiency: No. 64
The improvement of the Tigers' defense continues. They climbed into the No. 64 and have a defensive efficiency score of 103.2 according to KenPom.
Adjusted tempo: No. 177
The Tigers are still hovering around the national average of adjusted tempo for KenPom statistics. Auburn is averaging 17.2 seconds of possession.
Strength of schedule: No. 2
Auburn continues to have one of the toughest schedules in the nation. KenPom ranked the Tigers' schedule at No. 2 in their rankings.
