John Harbaugh's shocked reaction to horrific mistake vs. Patriots
Cameras caught a shocked John Harbaugh watching from the sidelines as Ravens tight end Mark Andrews made a horrible mistake against the Patriots.
Cameras caught Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh's dead-eyed stare as tight end Mark Andrews attempted a lateral while being tackled late in the second quarter of the Sunday Night Football game against the New England Patriots.
It was a baffling decision by a three-time Pro Bowler and former First-Team All-Pro player on the wrong side of the field with the game tied even. Patriots cornerback Carlton Davis III nearly picked the ball off on a play that would have given New England a chance to add three points on the board before halftime.
All Harbaugh could do was watch on in disbelief at the meltdown that was ensuing on the field right in front of him.
Things would get worse in the second half with the Ravens going up early and blowing an 11-point lead in the fourth quarter for a 28-24 loss in their home building.
It was an absolute disaster for a perennial playoff-contending team that could be on the outside looking in at the postseason dance for the first time in four years.
