Raiders to hold head coach interview with Klint Kubiak in coming days
It's finally happening. The Las Vegas Raiders much anticipated second in-person interview with Seattle Seahawks OC Klint Kubiak.
It's finally happening. With the Raiders holding several second in-person interviews with various head coach candidates, the one who seems most likely to get the job was conspicuously missing from those reports. Not anymore.
Seahawks OC Klint Kubiak is expected to meet with the Raiders this weekend.
Both LV & Arizona have the opportunity to meet w/ Klint Kubiak again before the SB.
That timing is typically mutually agreed upon by team, candidate, and in this case -- the Seahawks. The expectation is that both LV and Arizona will take that opportunity to do so this weekend.— Peter Schrager (@PSchrags) January 29, 2026
Right now the Seahawks are preparing to face the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl next Sunday. It appears there will be a small window this weekend for Kubiak to fly out to Las Vegas and Arizona to meet with those teams. At which point each side will decide if it's a good fit.
What figures to happen after that is one team will hire a different head coach and the other will wait until after the Super Bowl to name Kubiak their next head coach. So, you can figure we should all have a pretty good idea, probably by Monday at the latest, who the Raiders next head coach is.
