God is love. Any time you feel love, it's God because God is love. He who doesn’t love, doesn't know God. We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. I John 4:8 & 16.
The greatest love is divine love, love of God. You can love God as a mother, a father, a protector, a formless presence, a child, the divinity in everybody's heart, a feeling in your heart.
God is eternally one, of a single mind and purpose, unchanging. Therefore, if God is love, he is love forever, from before the creation of the world until after the end of time. He is love that never changes. He is not love today and hate tomorrow. He is not love in some situations and indifference in others. He is not love until I disobey him and then vengeance, love forgotten. His character is not dependent on my actions. All of his acts and all of his purpose are consistent with love number one.
God is everything for us. God is everything love is. we believe that love is patient and kind. I Corinthians 13:4-5.
God's love is revealed to us and to the world by Jesus, who gave himself for us, dying for our sins so that anyone who believes in him may be saved. John 3:16-18; Romans 5:8; Ephesians 5:1-2; I John 3:16 & 4:9. God's love is also revealed to us and to the world in the way the natural world which he created provides for human needs in spite of human sins. Matthew 5:44-48. God reveals his love to the world in our love for each other. John 13:34-35 & 17:20-23.
a. A form of communication, a way of talking to God.

c. A reverent petition made to God.
Now it came to pass, as Jesus was praying in a certain place with his disciples. On that day one of them asked, "Lord, teach us to pray." And so he taught them what almost all Christians have come to know and even memorize, The Lord's Prayer. It is one of the most commonly prayed prayers by people of all Christian faiths in both public and private worship.
Our Father in Heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in Heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial
and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours
now and for ever. Amen
Dear Lord I thank you for this day. I thank you for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I’m blessed because you are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and you keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from you. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over and it’s the best response when I’m pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can’t pray. You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost and can’t find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don’t know you intimately.. I pray for those that will delete this without sharing it with others. I pray for those that don’t believe. But I thank you that I believe. I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers and for each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem circumstance or situation greater than God. Every battle is in your hands for you to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it and every mouth that confesses them willingly. This is my prayer. In Jesus Sweet and Holy name. Amen ...
If you like to be on the way to God you have to know and respect the following ten commandments:
1. You shall have no other Gods before me.
2. You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.
5. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
6. You shall not murder.
7. You shall not commit adultery.
8. You shall not steal.
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s."
The followings are some steps that will lead you to salvation:
1) Repent of your sins.
2) Confess that Jesus is your Savior!
3) Believe that God will give you eternal life, because you have placed your trust in Jesus.
You can do it now. It does not matter where you are.
Just say the follow to God in prayer. Don't worry, He is there-- He's forever there. He will listen to you and you will be amazed how fast He will respond to you.
"Lord, I know that I am a sinner. I'm not living as You want me to live, and I can never live that way in my won strength. But Lord, I want to put sin out of my life once and for all, and begin living for You. So please forgive me for what I've done. I believe you can save me from my life. Only You can save me from my sins, because You died on the cross and rose again. I confess that Your precious blood can cleanse the sin from my life. Only you can make me the person I ought to be. So I surrender my life to You. Thank you for listening to my prayer, Lord. And thank you so much for the eternal life You have given me through Your death and resurrection from the grave. I give You all the praise for what You are going to do in my new life. I believe Your Word when it says I am "a new creature" now. I believe all the old things have passed away, and I am now completely different [2 Cor. 5:17]. Thank you for making me new, Lord. Amen."
Dr. Lester Sumrall, the author of the book "The names of God"
Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
