Firmino's cousin makes his debut for Athletic Bilbao
Selton Sánchez, cousin of forward Roberto Firmino, made his first appearance for Athletic Bilbao's senior team. The 18-year-old boasts Basque roots on his father's side and Brazilian heritage through his mother.
As captain of the U19 squad, Selton scored a goal and provided two assists in the Youth League against Borussia Dortmund. His coach, Ernesto Valverde, gave him his senior debut on November 5 against Newcastle in the Champions League. Just four days later, he started against Real Oviedo in La Liga, playing 64 minutes.

Valverde said of him: "Selton is talented, hardworking, and very confident." The young midfielder could soon make a name for himself in football.
